Typically, our message engine uses LLMs to craft elegant responses to guest inquiries. However, some customers have requested that INTO AI respond in a very specific format for certain situations. To accommodate this, we've introduced message templates. The first of many to come is the "First Inquiry Template."
This template is designed to respond in a precise and consistent manner to a guest's initial inquiry. Studies have shown that response time is crucial in converting inquiries into bookings. With the "First Inquiry Template," guests receive prompt replies in a format proven to optimize conversions for your properties.
To set up the "First Inquiry Template," log in to your account on the customer portal at https://str.weareinto.ai and navigate to AI > Message Template. In the Message Template section, toggle the "First Inquiry Template" to On. You can choose to use the default template or create your own. Once you're satisfied with your template, simply hit the Save button at the bottom right of the page, and voilà—your new template is saved and activated.
To see your First Inquiry Template in action, navigate to the Playground and test it out. Try toggling the template on and off to observe the difference in responses. We'll cover the Playground feature in more detail in a future help article.
